SOBREMESA CON MARCOS / AFTER DINNER TALK WITH MARK'S GOSPEL:
(Con un grupo pequeno en el sotano) (With a small group in the basement)
(Y un grupo pequeno en el mundo con libro en la mano) (And a small group in the world with book in hand)
“The taco consists of a rolled tortilla with the food mixed up inside. The Gospel of Mark can be seen as a taco rolled lengthwise, like a book. The Latin word sapere is equally as much about tasting as knowing. In like manner, knowing the Gospel of Mark also shows us how to flavor our lives,” writes Eliseo Pérez-Álvarez, in his book: Mark: Know Your Bible.
Amen.

Holden Prayer, or Prayer of Good Courage
O Lord God, who has called us, your servants, to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
