What snow is for through the eyes of Grandpa and Granddaughter, 7. Skiing--so much a part of it--but only a part. Snow, and snow and the mountain. Wilderness classroom. Dry snow on a cold day. Making turns. Looking at beauty from the side. Trying to see what can't be seen directly. Sunshine on it all. What can't be talked about.
